Michael gained his BDS in dental surgery at the University of Witwatersrand in South Africa and earned his master’s degree in dentistry at the University of Washington School of Dentistry. He later became a GDC registered specialist periodontist and co-founded Total Dental Care with his brother, Dr Anthony Zybutz.

Michael is well-known in his field, as he’s the only specialist dentist in the UK to be accredited by the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry and lectures internationally on dental implants. He’s also trained dental students at both undergraduate and postgraduate level.

Michael appeared on Channel 5’s ‘Botched up Bodies’, correcting poor dental work and restoring smiles with dental implants.

He is a member of multiple boards and societies, including The British Society of Periodontology, The Academy of Ossointegration, The American Board of Periodontology and the Association of Dental Implantology. He is also the past president of The American Dental Society of London.

Dr Michael Zybutz focuses on advanced dental implant and oral surgery treatments, helping patients restore the function, comfort and appearance of their smiles. He provides single dental implants to replace missing teeth, as well as full-mouth rehabilitation using All-on-4 implant treatment for patients seeking a fixed alternative to dentures. Dr Zybutz is also experienced in carrying out complex tooth extractions, including cases requiring a more advanced surgical approach.

To support successful implant treatment, he offers bone grafting and sinus lift procedures, helping to rebuild and strengthen the jaw when bone volume is limited. His patient-centred approach focuses on delivering predictable, long-lasting results tailored to each individual's needs.
